Re Opening the doors to success

10 years have passed since I graduated high school Valedictorian of my senior class. Today right now as we speak I'm sitting in the lobby of Georgia Perimeter College. A two year institution. Known as GPC ~Two years that will change your life~.

I'm not going to go into what I should have done differently, or how many times I entered the doors of education and walked right back out the door. Because in my eyes all that matters today is where I'm sitting right now! Insha Allah (If Allah wills) my visions will become realities through this defining moment in my life.

I strongly urge you who ever you are reading this to seek out your talent when it first comes to you, if you haven't already done so. Reach for it as soon as you know that its your IT. Time is given to us, we can't replace it, we can't slow it down and we can't go back. Yesterday I heard someone say, "Every child that is born speaks every language that is present in this world. We can't understand them but Allah (god) has given us multiple talents but we must seek within, find them, nurture them and project them with the intellect he has blessed us all with". Now whether or not you want to agree or disagree with the statement. It makes clear sense. A child's mind can adapt to anything presented before them.

As a mother I am eager to learn as much as I can to assist my children in learning as much as they can. I am there first teacher, they will most likely do what I do and not what I say. My success is their success. It is my duty as a mother to provide them with knowledge, to inspire them to reach beyond their arms length, to be an active supporter in their lives!

Success is truly determined by the beholder. Allah (God) has created us different. He has given us talents that are opposite but if placed together inventions are formed, ideas expanded beyond they eye can see. Which of the favors of your lord could you deny? Therefore we hold positions around the world that are dissimilar, these qualities from all us as individuals reflect the beauty of Allahs (God) creations. My point is no one can tell you what your SUCCESS is, because your dreams are what make you unalike others. Your visions separate you from mirroring everyone else.

My success is already written for me if it's what Allah (God) has planned for me. Its in my best entrance to seek it out, embrace it, and mold it! The signs are always there! As my friend says "pay attention to the little signs before a big sign appears with such devastation it may be too late to change it".

So at 27 years old reentering college, yes I am a bit nervous but not doubtful. As an avid reader and knowledge seeker I'm still afloat! :) So Bismillah (In the name if Allah) here I go world!
